Govt Jobs in Punjab. The Government of Pakistan has received from the International Development Association (IDA) for the cost of the Punjab Cities Program (PCP) implemented by the Punjab Municipal Development Fund Company (PMDFC).
The objective of the program is to strengthen the performance of urban local governments involved in urban management and service delivery.
A head office and three regional offices have been established in Gujranwala, Faisalabad and Khanewal to provide technical assistance to the municipal committees under the program. PMDC is recruiting the following professionals for the Punjab Cities Program (PCP)

| 01 | Senior Program Officer (Environment & Social Management) | 01 Post Lahore Based | 16 years of education or higher degree in Environmental Engineering/Science from a recognized university | Minimum 12 years of post qualification professional and technical experience with increasing levels of responsibility in environmental analysis and social safeguards assessments. Demonstrated experience in preparing IES, EIAS and EMMPs as required by public sector environmental regulations. Experience in preparing Social Assessment Reports (SAR), Social Management Plans (SMPs), Rehabilitation and Rehabilitation Action Plans (RAPS) as required in compliance with ESP. The candidate should also have practical and hands-on experience in dealing with and managing social issues arising from time to time. Prior experience of working with public sector entities, donors and familiarity with government environmental regulations and best practices. Working knowledge of foreign aid project. Local Government System Regulatory Framework will be an added advantage. The maximum age of Nat is 63 years. |
